My name is:
Inbal Sigler
I am known for being:
A 42-year-old mother of three boys– all born naturally, orgasmically, in their own time, on their own terms. And on mine too. I am a Hypnobirthing trainer, Doula, Orgasmic birth facilitator, Yoga and Pilates teacher and Chinese Medicine practitioner.
My expertise is in:
Pre- & post-natal guidance and care. I support families from fertility through pregnancy to birth, bringing knowledge, magic and practicality to the journey. I founded GENISIS Feminine Artistry (originally Isis HypnoBirthing & Yoga) in 2014 to create a space where sacred feminine teachings and evidence-based knowledge merge.
I was drawn to this because:
My own personal journey of becoming a mother. Carrying my son within me and giving birth to him was a defining experience. The mutual journey of growth and development that he and I shared has produced not only a manifestation of love in a form of a precious child, also the manifestation of this fertility, pregnancy and birth sacred space.
My practice works like this:
Whether the mother wishes to have a natural active birth, plans to use a pool or is considering an epidural, my holistic support provides the information and tools to create a calm and loving internal and external environment for their birth to unfold smoothly, intimately and fear-free. GENISIS brings together wisdom from all of these fields – Chinese medicine, hypnobirthing, yoga – to create individualised step-by-step programs for mothers, their birth partners and their babies. The union of modern and ancient wisdom unleashes the innate creation force and connects us to our wombs as centres of knowledge and truth. Women are blessed with a particularly refined sense of intuition; when we tune into it, we can help bring our wishes to life, whether in the birth of a child or the birth of an idea or project.
"Our wombs can act as a guide, as an inner oracle, and when we refocus on the signals, sensations and feelings coming from within, we will find the right path, one that restores balance, vitality and health."
In my experience, listening to your body and intuition is important because:
We live in a Masculine world that worships the mind, multitasking and productivity. The Feminine world is ruled by the opposite – receptivity, nurture, sensitivity. Even when our mind tells us one thing, the body speaks its own language, and often it tells us something else. The body speaks an authentic, personal truth, and a rich body of wisdom and intuition lies within us all. Our wombs can act as a guide, as an inner oracle, and when we refocus on the signals, sensations and feelings coming from within, we will find the right path, one that restores balance, vitality and health.
Here is how you can start doing it too:
A simple and effective way to tune in to our inner compass is to become aware of our physical body. Find a quiet space and time and feel the weight of the body of its bones, muscles and flesh, feeling the rhythm and quality of the breath. No matter what you’re trying to puzzle out, slide the awareness to the chest and rib cage (Heart and Solar Plexus centres). What do you feel? What sensations arise? Is it constriction? Tension? Warmth? Tingling? Release? The sensation holds the answer within.
What I love about my job is:
Putting the spotlight on women’s amazing innate abilities. It’s about transformation, alchemy. Parents who birth out of love, serenity and power give birth to babies whose first impression of life is of love and reverence, and they’ll carry that knowledge with them through life.
When I’m not at work I like to:
Read books and articles related to my work. I like to spend time in nature, coming closer to the ground, allowing myself to be held and nourished by Mother Earth for a while. Being a former classical dancer and a yoga and Pilates teacher, I find movement essential to my wellbeing, so I make sure to move four or five times a week.
Pregnancy is all about:
Transformation, alchemy, personal growth and devotion. We birth a heightened version of ourselves when we give birth; we come closer to our true essence: love.
One thing everyone could learn from mothers is:
That there is nothing that stands in the way of a determined woman. When we feel something is right, it is within our power to make our wishes a reality.
"Whatever philosophies a mother chooses to follow, finding a state of balance generates a sense of calm and wholeness that will be absorbed by the baby in her womb."
Women are powerful because:
We have the power to create life, to nurture and sustain anything that is in our mind and heart. We are a creating force, goddesses walking on earth. We have the ability to realise every desire.
Being a mother makes me feel:
Everything life has to offer in an enriched, extreme manner. It makes me feel like a complete, extended and elevated version of myself.
My best tip for those on the journey to motherhood is:
To trust, be present and surrender to the force of life and its subtlety. When we act on our intuition, our “second brain”, we can reach our potential. Whatever philosophies a mother chooses to follow, finding a state of balance generates a sense of calm and wholeness that will be absorbed by the baby in her womb. This will create a peaceful passage into the world for the baby and a passage into a blissful motherhood for her.
