What makes Mamaison classes safer than my other workouts?
Our sequences are adapted and custom-made specifically for the prenatal body.
We hold several certifications in prenatal fitness, and we stay on top of the latest research.

What do I need for my online workout?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely – no shoes necessary. Grab a mat to maximise your workout. You may find a (meditation) cushion and blanket helpful for stretching or making certain exercises more comfortable. We always mention what you’ll need at the beginning of class, so you never have to wonder. Hydrate whenever you need to.

Do you have a beginner’s class?
The Signature Light and Restore classes are perfect for beginners, but as with all classes, we strongly encourage you to listen to your own body and its needs. Every day is different; every day feels different. Make adjustments and take breaks whenever you need them; we’ll make suggestions for modifications throughout each class. Make sure you slowly and gradually build a workout pattern that works for you.

I did not work out before my pregnancy. Are these classes safe to start now?
If you have not exercised in a while, we recommend consulting your physician or waiting until you’re 12 weeks into your pregnancy before starting your journey with us. Our Restore classes are safe even without recent workout experience.

I regularly worked out before my pregnancy. Is there anything I should considering when continuing?
Not all ‘regular’ fitness exercises are appropriate for the prenatal body. As you progress in your pregnancy, you will notice shifts and changes in the body and how this affects your movement patterns. We are here to guide you in a workout that challenges and takes care of your body and mind in a safe way.

How often should I take classes?
As often as you’d like! We encourage you to move every day during your pregnancy, but we also know the importance of rest. Our classes are designed to suit all energy levels, whether you’re feeling exhausted or bursting with energy. It’s never too early to start, and you can continue to move safely right up until your delivery.

Do I need approval from my doctor or health care practitioner before taking class?
While we don’t require documentation, we encourage you to consult your physician before beginning or continuing any physical exercise.

What if I feel ill during class? 
First and foremost, we ask that you always listen to your body and do what feels best. If you begin to feel ill, experience pain or notice a particular movement doesn’t feel good, guide yourself into a restorative pose or take the suggested modification. Your comfort is a priority. If something seems strange or you’ve got a question, please let us know. We’re here to support you.

Can I save the videos to use offline when I don’t have internet access?
Our content is not downloadable or available to use offline.

What kind of Internet speed do I need for online workouts?
Our streaming platform will auto-regulate for the best quality based on your connection speed. Click the gear icon on the video player and select ‘Auto’ at the top of the list.

I’m having trouble viewing the videos. They’re stopping, running slowly or the audio is off. 
You can try a few things to fix this: Click the gear icon on the video player, click on Quality and then try changing the resolution. You can also try logging out, clearing your cache, restarting your browser and logging back in.

Can I cast the videos from my computer or phone?
You can! Casting enables you to use Google Cast or Apple AirPlay to stream our videos on a compatible TV. You simply tap the icon in the control bar to stream on a cast-compatible device. If no compatible device is detected by the player, no cast icon will appear. So, if you don’t see the icon, make sure you are near the compatible device and that the device is on.
